Here are the next parts for the two mystery samplers I'm working on. The first is 'Traditional Band Sampler' designed by Nancy Taplin from Friendly Stitchers (free to members of the group). I'm really pleased I decided to put in a second colour on this 'mono' version, it seems to just lift the main colour nicely so that it's not too over-powering. I love how the different shades are coming out as I stitch with the silk, too!

And the second is the next part to Papillon Creations mystery sampler, "How Does Your Garden Grow?" . I managed to take a photo that just shows the 'twinkle' on the opalescent fabric, as well as the mottled colours of it. I'm really enjoying this piece, with all the flowers being different speciality stitches!
I'll be back working on DT Sampler of Stitches this week - it's been a bit neglected over the past couple of weeks and 'J' is beckoning!
Happy Stitching everyone!
